The Red Shoe Crew is a dynamic group of more than 90 community leaders supporting seriously ill children in the Triangle. Members receive networking and service opportunities while engaging community support for the RMHC mission. Ongoing service projects include monthly pancake breakfasts and occasional dinner teams in Durham and Chapel Hill.

Come for the networking; stay for the heart.

Each year, members are recognized in the Triangle Business Journal. You want to be on this list!

In early 2023, Red Shoe Crew members renovated the new STEM space at Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Members had fun, completed an important project for kids, and had an up-close view of the RMHC mission.

Last year, crew members relocated and renovated our Durham family-services office that welcomes guest families when they arrive. In 2025, the group is planning a total re-envisioning and renovation of the playroom in Chapel Hill that welcomes pediatric patients and their siblings of all ages.

Service opportunities are part of the Red Shoe Crew experience – come walk with us!
