Due to the weather forecast for Friday the 7th Annual Capital City Shootout at Drake’s Landing has been POSTPONED until Friday, November 22nd. -- Enjoy a sporting-clays adventure with your team of four on one of two scenic courses at Drake Landing. Sponsors and teams are welcomed into this loyal group of RMHC friends. The shootout is especially useful for team development and business networking.

The Wishing Tree

The Wishing Tree

The Wishing Tree is a holiday angel-tree program to support seriously ill children and their families during the holidays. Participating groups receive ornaments to distribute to members or hang on a tree. Each ornament contains a gift needed for a child or parent, or a food or household item needed to keep RMHC programs running. When gifts are received and organized, RMHC parents “shop” in Santa’s Workshop for their sick children as well as their siblings.

Be a light - Light a Luminary! Each year, glowing candles line the streets of neighborhoods across the Triangle and beyond. The Light a Luminary project, now in its 30th year, engages dozens of local communities in honor of the families staying with RMHC Triangle who are unable to be home for the holidays due to their children’s serious illness or injury.

Calling all runners! RMHC is looking for friends to join the RMHC Triangle Team at the 45th running of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Organizers expect more than 45,000 participants this year. The start line is located in Grant Park at the intersection of Columbus Drive and Monroe Street. Join RMHC in running the distance for children and families facing big challenges!

Seven Oaks and the Stonehenge HOA are proud to hold the third-annual Wild Bill 5K in honor of William “Wild Bill” Sonner. Bill was a Raleigh coach, mentor, and community leader. The 2023 race features a 5K, a virtual 5K, and a kids’ race. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle and The Helene Foundation.
