The Wishing Tree is a holiday angel-tree program to support seriously ill children and their families during the holidays. Participating groups receive ornaments to distribute to members or hang on a tree. Each ornament contains a gift needed for a child or parent, or a food or household item needed to keep Ronald McDonald House programs running. An Amazon gift list is also available.

Be a light - Light a Luminary! Each year, glowing candles line the streets of neighborhoods across the Triangle in honor of sick children. Now in its 33rd year, the Light a Luminary project brings together 80+ local communities to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Triangle who are unable to be home for the holidays due to their children’s serious illness or injury.

Lights of Love is more than a fundraising campaign — it’s a LIFELINE for families with seriously ill children. This year, companies, groups, and individuals from across the Triangle are coming together again to support families whose children are receiving critical care at Duke, UNC, and WakeMed Children’s Hospitals. With your help, we hope to raise $670,000 to support these vital services. The campaign culminates in a Community Celebration on Dec 6 at American Tobacco Campus in Durham.
