Guest Service Volunteers are the first smiles that families see as they walk through the door of RMH. These volunteers provide comfort and care as families arrive to check in, and when they return from long days at the hospital. Tasks include answering and directing phone calls, helping families get checked in and out, taking kids to the Rachel Kendall Toy Room, and supporting family services staff. Volunteers are 18 or older and commit to a weekly shift for a minimum of 6 months.
Learn MoreFriendly volunteers are stationed in our kitchen spaces during dinner and breakfast. Tasks included maintaining a caring presence in the kitchen spaces, helping families or meal teams by providing needed kitchen items, cleaning and organizing the kitchen, making coffee, restocking meal items, and more!

Learn MoreWant to serve up love in the kitchen? Baking is great for individuals or small groups of up to 5 volunteers. You bring the ingredients and supplies, bake in the RMH kitchen, and package up treats into individual bags for families. Baking shifts are available for 1-3 hours shifts on week days only.
Learn MoreRonald McDonald House offers evening activities for parents, pediatric patients, and their siblings. This offers an escape from the trials of treatment and allows kids to simply be kids. Activities fall on weekday evenings from 6-7 p.m.
Volunteers are asked to plan an activity, provide all supplies needed, and host the activity for families. Currently seeking volunteers who can commit to hosting at least one activity per month for 6 months minimum.
Learn MoreRonald McDonald House Charities hosts a colorful collection of community-based events to raise funds for the mission. Volunteers are needed for event committees, day-of set-up, throughout individual event timelines, and for post-event clean-up.

Learn MoreIn-kind donations keep Ronald McDonald House running. Snacks, toiletries, and cleaning supplies are always needed to welcome families home. These critical supplies are also shared with tens of thousands of families of pediatric patients at our partner hospitals each year.
Some RMHC friends pick up supplies when they’re out for weekly shopping, and others order from the Amazon list we keep current. Either way, your kindness will make a huge impact on families as they face big battles.
You may also organize a seasonal, themed (summer or year-end) wish-list drive.
