Families of pediatric patients at Duke, UNC, WakeMed, or nearby medical centers may request to stay at Ronald McDonald Houses in Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh. All referrals for our Houses must come from a social worker or case manager at the treating facility. Please ask your case manager to submit a referral on our website through our password-protected portal. Providers’ offices may contact us if they need the password.
Once a referral is submitted for your stay, our team will contact you to confirm receipt of the referral and to request information. Please note we are not able to confirm a room for you until the day before or the day of your arrival, depending on the House program. A referral is not a guarantee of a room; we are not able to reserve rooms in advance.
