UNC Children’s Hospital
Support families in the medical setting; volunteers are needed to share respite with families inside the walls of the hospital.
Located on the 7th Floor of UNC Children’s Hospital, the Family Room offers families of pediatric patients a space to rest and recharge. Guests may enjoy free snacks and drinks, or simply enjoy a quiet, comfortable place to reflect in a home-like setting – all while staying near a sick child’s bedside.
To help maintain a regular schedule for families, volunteers are asked to commit to a regular schedule.
