When Colleen Lee began volunteering at Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill in in House operations, she was immediately a perfect fit, always serving families with a bright smile. Willing to do anything that was needed, she quickly raised her hand to help manage the toy donations for our Rach Kids Toy Store that enables every child at the House to pick out a brand-new toy during each stay.
Colleen not only helps with the day-to-day stocking of the toy store, she is also the lead volunteer for family holiday “shopping” that helps Chapel Hill families select multiple gifts for each of their children during the holiday season. Her time spent with our toys brings joy to many!
Beyond helping with the toy store, Colleen can be found each Wednesday morning serving breakfast to families or training other volunteers on the volunteer team. Colleen has given more than 750 hours to RMHC in just 6 years and has made sure that every hour given has had a huge impact on families.
