Carolina for the Kids, a student led organization of UNC Chapel Hill, has raised an incredible 5.1 million dollars since 1999 with a mission “to unite the University, community, and state in fostering emotional and financial support that improves the quality of life for the patients and families of N.C. Children’s Hospital.”
A longtime partner of the House, CFTK has donated more than $314,000 since 2012 to support families staying at RMHCH. In 2022, CFTK granted the House a $10,000 grant to fund both a weekly meal in our Family Room for pediatric caregivers and to keep our pantry stocked at the House so that families have access to food 24 hours a day.
In addition to critical funding to serve families, CFTK students can often be found volunteering to cook meals at the House and at special fundraising events. A huge thanks to the thousands of students who participate in CFTK’s efforts that make this partnership possible!
